About
My Journey Here
Julie's personal relationship with Jesus has led her on a journey of healing and restoration in overcoming a long list of heartbreaks; a child given up for adoption, an abortion, a miscarriage, and three marriages. Years of depression, struggles with alcohol and drugs nearly ended her life. For 10 years, she searched for a way out -- self-help treatments, diet, exercise, psychotherapy, medications -- but to no avail. Left with no where else to turn, she surrendered everything over to Jesus Christ, embraced God's truth in His Word through biblical counseling and received the power of the Holy Spirit. This allowed her to experience victory through Jesus Christ. Her third marriage was restored and just celebrated their 35th anniversary. After a 10 year dependency on medication for depression, she was delivered and has been medication free for 25 years. God restored the child she aborted and her miscarried child with two sons; and finally, after 21 years of separation, she was reunited with the daughter she gave up for adoption. All that sin tried to destroy in her life, God restored and redeemed. Her life serves as an example of how God can take an abused and broken person and transform into a new creation through Christ, Jesus.
Julie began her career as a vocalist fronting local jazz orchestras, and performing in musical theater in Spokane WA, Northern and Southern California. Upon arriving in Los Angeles, Julie appeared in television commercials as well as guest appearances in situation comedies and film . As an accomplished vocalist, Julie has performed in nightclubs in the San Francisco and Los Angeles areas and travelled throughout Canada and Japan with Top 40 bands. Her musical styles range from Jazz, Contemporary and Pop to Rhythm & Blues and Country.
