Ministry
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away;
behold, all things have become new.
2 Corinthians 5:17
My Journey Here Ministries is about how God can take a very lost, broken person and not only restore all that seemed to be destroyed, but also to redeem in order to encourage and instruct others.
Speaking & Singing
Julie is invited to engagements of all kinds state-wide, as a guest vocalist and speaker. From Prison Outreach with Bill Glass Ministries to Mother’s Day events and everything in between.
Discipleship & Mentoring
In both one-on-one and group settings, Julie provides discipleship to women of all ages using curriculum “Forgiven and Set Free” as well as “The Path to Sexual Healing”, both written by Linda Cochrane. By appointment only. Julie also facilitates a weekly women’s biblestudy, “Shebrews”, at her home church.
Ministry Background
Julie stepped into her first jail nearly 30 years ago with Mark Maciel and Prison Ministry of America to bring the gospel to the inmates of Twin Towers located in Los Angeles, CA. Her special blend of music, testimony and teaching has taken her to prisons all over the country with Prison Ministry America, Bill Glass Behind the Walls and Fly Right Ministries. Julie has spoken at Moody Bible Institute/Spokane, women’s ministry events, evangelistic outreaches and has also worked one-on-one with the ladies in recovery at the House of Esther, as part of PMA. She has served as a speaker for Silent No More and as a post abortion counselor with LivingHelp Center (Downey, CA). Her passion is to share the hope and "how to overcome" message she has personally experienced, through her relationship with Christ, with a world of hurting people - especially women.

“ As I continue to share with others in prisons, women’s conferences, purity seminars, crisis pregnancy centers, recovery homes, small group studies, and individual discipleship programs - the message remains the same – there is hope and healing through Jesus Christ, the Word of God and the Power of the Holy Spirit!”
